A man sentenced to life imprisonment for rape near Umkomaas

A 28-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment after he raped a 9-year-old girl on three different occasions at her home in Amahlongwa Mission near Umkomaas. 

Colonel Jay Naicker said the man lived with the victim in the same house. 

Naicker said the case reported to the Umkomaas police station and the police followed up with investigation till they court the suspect.

He following cases the suspect was eventually sentenced to life imprisonment.
