The Democratic Alliance says the new
immigration regulations will have a devasting impact on the tourism
sector.
DA MP of Tourism James Vos said the
Department of Home Affairs’ new immigration regulations are tying up the
tourism industry in an unnecessary red tape and placing an unnecessary burden
on the growth of the job creating sector.
Vos said this is just another ANC not so
thought through plan and it is going to kill the industry in a big way.
Vos said the National Development Plan
cites tourism as one of our great pillars in the country. The DA will not stand
by and watch while this regulation kills our economy.
