Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development
Michael Masutha on Monday had a meeting with the top leadership of the National
Prosecuting Authority to address concerns regarding the organisation.
Minister Masutha said he is encouraged by the fact the
NPA is a well performing institution which has obtained a clean audit over the
past year.
Departmental Spokesperson Lawrence Ngoveni said this
is part of his interaction schedule.
Ngoveni said his going around currently on his
different divisions of the department to interact with management and also to
look at areas of improvement so that we move forward together so that we have a
common understanding.
“The spirit in that meeting was mutually respectful
and I think the people have understood that they need to work together and to
continue to support one another in their duties.” Ngoveni added.
