The National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union in the Western Cape has sent its condolences to the Coetzee family.

This comes after the Secretary of Parliament Michael Coetzee passed on, on Friday after battling with cancer.

Nehawu Provincial Secreatary Luthando Nogcinisa said Coetzee came to Parliament when Nehawu had lost trust in the institution.

Meanwhile Nehawu also decided to suspended their picket outside Parliament yesterday before the State of the Nation Address.

Nogcinisa said the union and its branches in the province decided to suspend all the planned pickets because it seems like the authorities are following the demands of the union.
