Three people including two children injured in an accident at Umhlanga

An accident on the N2 at Umhlanga, Durban left three people including two children injured.  This is after two vehicles rear-ended into each other. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said there was one adult and two children who were in the vehicle and they all sustained injuries.

Botha said the adult was in a serious condition and paramedics stabilised all the injured on scene before they were transported to the nearest hospital for the further medical care that they required. 

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
