Three suspects arrested in smash and grab incident in Bonteheuwel

Over the last week Western Cape Metro Police managed to arrest three suspects for smash and grab in the Bonteheuwel-Langa area. 

The suspects were caught on CCTV camera.  Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security JP Smith said some of the goods stolen included credit cards, cellphones and laptops. 

Smith said one of the arrested persons has a prevent criminal cases and we are hoping that this activity will deter these would be offenders.

He added that the area has been identified as the hotspot of smash and grab.
