WC Government to inject R300milion into agriculture youth projects

The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has welcomed the announcement by the provincial government to inject about R300m into skills development and training for the youth.

The money will be used to help the youth who are interested in agriculture.

The initiative will be spread over a period of three years.

ACDP Leader in the province Ferlon Christians said this is a great initiative by the government it can also get the youth off the streets and get them focussed on things that can build their future.

Christians further said that if government can spread this initiative in other sectors as well that can also help with youth unemployment.
