A 40 year-old woman arrested for possession of dagga

Police in Gauteng arrested a 40-year-old woman on Wednesday for being in possession of dagga worth thousands of rand. 

Police found the dagga in a room in her house. Provincial Police have welcomed the contribution of community participation in the fight against crime as this has contributed to yielded results in the fight against drugs. 

Captain Kabelo Marumo said police followed up on information which led to a house in Alexandra Johannesburg.

Marumo added that the house was searched and dagga containing four bags was recovered from a hidden room in the house. The suspect was arrested immediately.
