ER24 paramedics attended to an accident scene this afternoon along CR Swart Road in Kempton Park whereby eleven special needs kids were left injured.

It is believed that the taxi they were in collided with a bakkie and a truck.

ER24 Spokesperson Luyanda Majija said the children age between seven and 12 years-old sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Majija said they were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
