The Minister of Social Development Albert Fritz on Friday launched the second Youth Café in Athlone.

MEC Fritz said this project is directly linked to the provincial youth development strategy and will allow young people access to a developmental space that is limited only by their creativity.

He added that the Youth Café is proving to be a space which puts youth on a path to be pioneers in creating opportunities for themselves and others.

Fritz said it will service the communities as it is really a nexus of a number of young children will be able to access our youth opportunities and go through that space to graduate to different levels of programs we provide at the youth café.
