A 36 year-old woman arrested for possession of drugs

A 36-year-old woman was arrested by the Durban Flying Squad Narcotics Task Team for being in possession of heroin at Sastri Road in Clairwood.   

The KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant Mmamonnye Ngobeni praised the Durban Flying Squad Narcotics for their continued fight against drug abuse and drug dealing in the province.

Colonel Jay Naicker said when they proceeded to the location of Sastri road they found a 36 year-old woman in possession of 1000 straws of heroin with a street value of more than R30 000.

She was immediately detained at Brighton beach police station and was charged for dealing in drugs.
