An accident this afternoon on in Island
Street Verulam left a three-year-old girl dead, this is after she was hit by a
bus.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they arrived on the scene they found that paramedics worked very fervently to try and stabilised the child who was placed on a ventilator and resuscitation for quite some time.
“Tragically she died on the scene due to
the very extensive injuries that she had sustained.” Botha added.
The exact details of the cause of the
accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
