The Minister of State Security David Mahlobo has launched an investigation into allegations of misconduct against people associated with the State Security Agency.

Minister Mahlobo said they are committed to professionalizing the service and deal decisively with ill-discipline irrespective of any person.

Inspector General of Intelligence Advocate Faith Doreen Radebe has been appointed to conduct the investigation.

Ministerial Spokesperson Brian Fikani Dube said the investigation would allow the minister to take necessary action to ensure that those who act outside of the law are dealt with accordingly.
