Ramaphosa and Boere-Afrikaner Volksraad discuss Afrikaner self determination

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday had a meeting with representatives of the Boer-Afrikaner Volksraad in Pretoria. 

The meeting was to discuss concerns regarding self-determination, which Ramaphosa said such engagements were important for promoting dialogue and understanding among South Africans. 

Deputy President Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa said such engagements are important for promoting dialogue and understanding among South Africans.

Mamoepa said Government needs to be available to discuss any matters of concern to citizens.

“The government will continue to engage with the Boer-Afrikaner Volksraad and any other formations to discuss issues of interest and concern Mamoepa added.
