Ramaphosa attending the Human Resource Development Council meeting

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is today expected to chair the 15th meeting of the Human Resource Development Council of South Africa. 

The purpose of the council which was established in 2010 is to build the human resource development base required to ensure a prosperous and inclusive South African society. 

Deputy President Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa said the meeting will focus on strengthening of capacity for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Colleges.

Mamoepa said other issues that will be dealt with at the meeting will be looking at the development of a Worker Education Framework, which will form the basis of the current context of worker education in the country.
