The National Sea Rescue Inistitute has continued its search of two fishermen who went missing on the West Coast on Monday.

The two fishermen went missing late Monday evening after they went fishing on a small open fishing boat and failed to return.

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said NSRI rescue craft and police boat shell patrols are continuing to be conducted and remains no sign of the two fisherman or their boat.

Lambinon said particles have been washing ashore this morning but it’s unknown what this indicates at this stage.
