An accident in Kagiso leaves three people dead

An accident this morning on the M13 in Kagiso on the West Rand left three people dead and one person critically injured.

This is after the vehicle they were travelling in lost control and crashed into a tree. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found that three men had tragically lost their lives and a fourth man was ejected from the vehicle and in a critical condition.

Steinmann said the Netcare helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured man to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
