Western Cape MEC of Health Theuns Botha on
Friday opened the upgraded New Horizons Clinic in Plettenberg Bay
The renovated clinic consists of eight
consultation rooms, a medicine store and observation room and serves a
community of an estimated 7 000 people.
MEC Botha said the waiting time will be
further decreased with the delivery of chronic medication parcels at the
community hall.
“It is a beautiful facility equipped with
all new equipment and it serves a population of about 7 000 people.
Together with this facility and the new Kwanokuthula
CDC that was opened two years ago. We have now really addressed the health
needs of the Plettenberg Bay
