Western Cape MEC of Health Theuns Botha on Friday opened the upgraded New Horizons Clinic in Plettenberg Bay.

The renovated clinic consists of eight consultation rooms, a medicine store and observation room and serves a community of an estimated 7 000 people.

MEC Botha said the waiting time will be further decreased with the delivery of chronic medication parcels at the community hall.

“It is a beautiful facility equipped with all new equipment and it serves a population of about 7 000 people.

Together with this facility and the new Kwanokuthula CDC that was opened two years ago. We have now really addressed the health needs of the Plettenberg Bay.”   Botha added.
