Two dead after plane crash accident in KZN

A plane crash accident outside Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal left two people dead. 

This is after the small aircraft crashed into a small stream after it lost power and descended before crashing into the stream. 

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation. 

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said  the bodies of the two occupants were lying some distance from the aircraft.  

Meiring said both had already succumbed to their injuries by the time paramedics reached the scene.

Meiring said it was apparent that both men had been ejected from the aircraft upon impact.

Meiring said Local fire services were on the scene to extinguish the fire, and police are investigating the incident.  

“The cause of the crash is not yet known Meiring added.
