The Western Cape Department
of Education said the final round of school enrolment for 2015 has closed.
MEC of Education Debbie
Schafer said the school population in the province is growing rapidly
year-by-year, and therefore it is important that children are enrolled for
school as soon as possible ahead of 2015.
In a statement MEC Schafer
said enrolment in the province started early this year.
Ministerial Spokesperson
Jessica Shelver said Parents should note that many schools have already
concluded their admissions processes.
Shelver said those parents
who have yet to enrol their children have therefore reduced their chances of
enrolling at a school of their choice.
“Parents who have applied to
schools and have not secured a space at any school may contact our district
offices for assistance Shelver added.
