A man arrested for alleged drug den

A 37 year old man was arrested for allegedly running a drug den in a building in Point Road, whilst he was in the process of packaging drugs into small packets.

The KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Ngobeni praised the Narcotics Task Team for their dedication to make Durban and surrounding areas a drug-free zone.

Police Spokesperson Jay Naicker said he was found to be in a possession of rock cocaine and cocaine powder with a street value of R21 000.

Naicker added that he was arrested and charged for possession of drugs.
