Nine injured in multiple vehicle collision on N12

Nine people were injured this morning after a multiple vehicle collision on the N12 near Putfontein in Johannesburg East.

When ER24 paramedics arrived, they found the road blocked by numerous vehicles.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said on assessment, they discovered that nine people from various vehicles had sustained minor injuries in the collision.

Meiring said paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Sunshine Hospital for further observations.

“The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations Meiring added.
