The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has welcomed steps taken by the City of Cape Town in being proactive in its approach regarding crime as the festive season approaches.

In the province a total of twenty malls have been robbed in the past two months with one person being killed.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said I am also happy that action is going to be taken and there is going to be a lot visibility, especially in our Malls, where officials will be outside perimeter patrolling.

Christians added that they will keep both local and international community safe.
