The Uitenhage K9 unit together with the Stock Theft Unit in the area on Thursday arrested five suspects for stock theft.

Warrant Officer Gerda Swart said they received information about a possible suspicious vehicle and suspects. A team was set up and roadblocks were hosted.

Swart said members noticed the vehicle and arrested the five suspects and also recovered five sheep in the vehicle.

The five suspects are expected to appear in court soon once they have been charged.
