Fourteen arrested for running a brothel in KZN

The KwaZulu Natal police task team together with the Hawks arrested seventeen suspects aged between 24 and 61-years-old over the weekend for sexual offences in Greenwood Park.

Police received information about a brothel operating in the area and immediately followed up where they found fourteen alleged sex workers.

Major Thulani Zwane said they were arrested by the members of the Hawks together with the Provincial task team after they received information that there was a house that was suspected to be running a brothel.

The members raided the house and arrested fourteen female suspects and the owner of house and two other male suspects were arrested for buying sex.
