Yesterday a 12 day old baby boy was snatched from a Cape
Town hospital.
According to Western Cape Health Department spokesperson
Darren Francis ,says she was doing her rounds on New Year's Day when a nurse in
the maternity ward noticed the baby wasn't in his cot.
After finding out the news Francis questioned the mother
and then immediately alerted security as well as management.
The mother has been provided with trauma counselling and police
investigation are underway.
Police have asked the general public to please come forward
with any information about the incident.
