3 die in N4 taxi collision

An accident this morning on the N4 highway in Pretoria left three people dead and four others injured. 

It is believed that that a taxi and two motor vehicles collided into each other. 

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a minibus and two vehicles were involved.

The minibus overturned and came to a standstill on its side. One of the vehicles came to a standstill on top of the other vehicle.

Steinmann said upon assessment of the occupants they found two men and one woman tragically lost their lives while one person was found to be in a critical condition.

It’s now confirmed that three other people sustained injuries.”

Steinmann said four people were also injured.

“Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events are still unknown at this stage and will remain the subject of a police investigation Steinmann added.
