ATM bombing suspects escape with undisclosed amount of money

Eastern Cape police are investigating an ATM bombing incident which took place in Mthatha in the early hours of this morning.

Police Spokesperson Mzukisi Fatyela said the suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money and no arrests have been made as yet. 

Fatyela said they have not arrested anyone, the money was taken and we are not sure how much but, there are strong leads that we are following started from the ATM that might lead to the arrest.

Fatyela said they don’t know how many people have been involved in the bombing, but we opened a case.

“The matter is still under investigation Fatyela added.
