Boy drowns in KZN

A three-year-old boy died after he drowned in Ramsgate this morning. It is believed that the boy was found by family members who contacted emergency services.

The exact details to the cause of the drowning incident will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said Reports from the scene indicate that the little boy was found by members of the family who contacted emergency services for assistance.

Steinmann said the boy was found in the swimming pool.

Steinmann said Paramedics spent about an hour trying to resuscitate the boy.

“He was declared dead on the scene” Steinmann added.
