MEC Plato calls on community to assist in arresting Williams murders

Western Cape MEC of Community Safety Dan Plato has condemned the murder of 5-year-old Kayde Williams from Bredasdorp. 

Williams went missing on Sunday and her body was found in bushes on Monday.

MEC Plato in a statement said as a society we cannot continue to fail the most vulnerable of our communities. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Ewald Botha said MEC Plato has sent his deepest condolences to the family and friends of Kayde Willims during this difficult time.

“MEC Plato trusts that the police are busy with a full investigation and asked the community to come forward with all information which could help lead to an arrest of those responsible of this act” Botha added.
