An accident this morning in Harrtenbos in Mossel Bay in the Southern Cape left one person dead and another injured.
The exact details to the cause
of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Meiring said ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene on found both vehicles in the
emergency lane of the road. Both vehicles had sustained major damage in the
collision.
Meiring said on assessment,
paramedics discovered the lifeless body of an elderly male patient lying in the
front of his vehicle.
Meiring said unfortunately the man had already
succumb to his severe injuries.
Meiring said the driver of the
second vehicle was found sitting on the nearby pavement.
Meiring said the patient was
treated and immobilised before he was transported to a nearby hospital for
further treatment.
“The cause of the collision is
not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations”
Meiring added.
