The South African Democratic Teachers Union in Gauteng has raised its concern regarding the recent disruptions which have taken place at the Roodepoort Primary School.

Last week parents protested outside the school calling for the school to be closed or the principle must step down.

There have been allegations that some parents prefer a coloured principle rather than a black one, but these claims have been rubbished.

Sadtu Provincial Secretary Dudu Nkosi said as the province they really worried about what happened that school.
It is clear that there are some elements that hell bout to bring back that demon of racism into the whole structure.

Its worrying that they are only complaining now when that process of appointment and recruitment of staff have got recourse in case you are dissatisfied of the processes.

We think they were supposed to have utilised that kind process and so that it is clarified at that point.
