A call for nominations for the National Planning Commission

A call for nominations of individuals to serve on the National Planning Commission has been launched by the Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Jeff Radebe.

The commission will be advising Government on how best to implement the NDP and to develop detailed plans in selected sectors that require focussed attention to drive economy growth, radical transformation and the sustainable development of the country.

Spokesperson Khulekani Mathe said they are looking for South Africans that are committed to the development of this country and who have expertise in a number of areas ranging from Education, Health, Economy, Social protection, Nation building amongst others.

Mathe said this is to help this government to take forward the National Development plan in terms of implementation as well as to design and develop detailed plans in various sectors to advance the Socio-economic development of our country.
