A shooting at Sir Lowry’s Pass leaves one person dead

A shooting incident last night at Mandela Park in Sir Lowry’s Pass left a 23-year-old woman fatally wounded and three other people between the ages of 10 and 17-years-old injured.

Captain FC van Wyk said the motive for the shooting is still unknown at this stage and no arrests have been made as yet.

Van Wyk said the three injured victims were taken to a near-by hospital for medical treatment.

“We have taken in three people for questioning, a case of murder and a case of attempted murder has been opened for investigation” Van Wyk added.
