Four people were this morning killed in an accident involving a bus and a truck on the N1, 50 kilometres from Beaufort West.
Western Cape Traffic Chief
Kenny Africa said the truck and the bus collided into each other and also left 43
people injured.
Africa said the four people a
women and three men who were passengers in the bus died immediately on the
scene. The 32 people injured were taken to hospital.
“The driver of the bus and
truck were seriously injured and were transported to the nearest hospital for the
medical care that they require” Africa added.
