An accident this morning on the M1 in Marrion Hill, KwaZulu Natal left eight people injured. This follows an accident which involved five vehicles.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said ER24 paramedics from the Hillcrest branch arrived on scene and found all five vehicles in the middle of the lane. All five vehicles, including three taxis, had rear-ended each other.

He added that on assessment, paramedics found eight patients walking around on scene. Fortunately the patients had sustained only minor injuries.
