MEC Madikizela to hand over houses to first time home owners

The Western Cape MEC of Human Settlements will today be handing over houses to beneficiaries of the housing project in De Doorns.

He will also together with the executive Mayor Antoinette Steyn attended a Sod-Turning ceremony in Breede Valley Municipality.

Ministerial Spokesperson Zalisle Mbali said the two projects that im referring to is the one in De Doorns as well as the one in Roosevelt which will cost an estimated value of over R125 million and will also deliver over 1400 units.

“This clearly demonstrates commitment to the development of integrated and sustainable human settlements” Mbali added.
