Accident in Benoni leaves 14 children injured

An accident this morning in Benoni left 14 children injured.

This is after the light delivery vehicle that was transporting the children crashed through a steel gate and came to a standstill against a motor vehicle in a private property.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon assessment of all the children paramedics found that two children sustained serious injuries while twelve sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Steinmann said the injured children were treated on the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
