The Congress of South African Trade Union in the Western Cape is planning to lay criminal charges against Premier Helen Zille.

Cosatu said it is outraged at what they regard as the contempt which learners at Cape Flats schools have to endure like asbestos.

Cosatu’s Tony Ehrenreich said schools that are vandalized and build, there are quite a few signs that members of the community should not enter the premises because of the danger.

He added that the learners have to be there everyday.

Ehrenreich further said the asbestos is a terrible disease that tears away people’s lungs and for the premier to subject the poor young learners to this disease is really being criminally negligent and completely disregarding.
