The Democratic Alliance has
called for the Marikana and Nkandla report to be tabled before Parliament.
President Jacob Zuma received
the report by the Farlam Commission of Inquiry into the events that led to the
shooting dead of 34 striking mineworkers in August 2012, at the end of last
month.
DA Parliamentary Leader Mmusi
Maimane in a statement said in both cases justice must be served.
Maimane Spokesperson Mabine
Seabe said these two reports highlights the injustices that have happened and
they need to be deliberated by Parliament.
Seabe said R246 million was
used to build the Presidents house and many miners were killed during the
Marikana mascara, so we need justice to be served.
Meanwhile Public Works
Minister Thulas Nxesi says disciplinary hearings and criminal cases against
officials and contractors implicated in the Nkandla investigations are in
progress.
