Western Cape MEC of Economic Opportunities Alan Winde has welcomed the multiple entry visas for BRICS business travellers and called for extension to Africa and strategic markets.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste Winde is encouraged by the news that the 10 year multiple entry visas for BRICS business travellers is been well received.

Jooste added that Western Cape government’s Red Tape Reduction Unit continues to work with foreign investors and the private sector to assess the impact these laws and assist where applications are delayed.

“Minister Winde is appealing to Home Affairs to extent these visa to African business travellers and other strategic market. We are however concerned that the unbridged birth certificate requirements is on the table.” Jooste said.
