The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape said there should be zero-tolerance for people who violate the law.

This follows the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl in a school in Belhar on the Cape Flats last week.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians has written an open letter to the MEC of Education Debbie Schafer to investigate this.

Christians said I am writing this open letter to Minister Schafer to get the Education Department to investigate this matter.

Christians added that there might be a lot of other things happening at the school in Belhar and those perpetrators like this must be suspended from school, until after the investigation.

“The matter must get urgent attention from the Education Department and the Minister, to investigate what is happening at this school.” Christians concluded.
