ACDP welcomes draft policy for school principles

The African Christian Democratic Party has welcomed the draft policy on standards for school principles.

ACDP MP Cheryllyn Dudley said they have high expectations for education in South Africa and believe that this is an important initiative en route to achieving excellence in education.

Dudley added that they are calling on the South African public to participate in the process that will follow as they are all stakeholders in the education of present and future generations.

“The department has said that numerous stakeholders were consulted during the drafting process and the approved policy will soon be gazetted for public comment.” Dudley said.
