The Congress of the People says, President Jacob Zuma must not shackle the youth with massive debt.

COPE spokesperson Dennis Bloem said, the youth of today are growing steadily more restive.

They have the thoughts focussed on gainful employment and success in business or the professions.

Bloem added that, the youth are not aware of the great inequality that the Zuma government is perpetrating against them and all other South Africans.

Bloem said the Congress of the People are saying that, we are very scared at the way President Zuma is going on.

“He is going to leave our country with a huge debt. Presently we are standing at 1.8 trillion in debt that must be paid back. Now we are pleading and saying that we don’t know what the future will hold for our youth” Bloem added.
