The Department of Health said some of the medication supply problems experienced over the last few days across the country have been resolved.

The country has been experiencing a limited supply of about 155 medicines due to the global shortage of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

The department says it has found a potential source of active ingredients in Germany.

Ministerial Spokesperson Joe Maila said our manufacturers have been working around the clock to make sure that they source of the products elsewhere in the world.

Maila said some of the medication have arrived in the country and we believe in the next few weeks we will be able to get all the stock that is needed.
