Four people dead and eight injured after accident on the R102 KZN

Four people died and eight others were injured in a motor vehicle accident on the R102 in KwaZulu Natal.

It is believed that a truck and a minibus crashed into each other.

KZN Emergency Medical Services Spokesperson Robert Mckenzie said paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and several private ambulance services responded to the crash.

Mckenzie said paramedics treated eight surviving patients, one who was critically injured, and before transporting them to several hospitals in the area for continued medical care.

“Police were also on the scene and are investigation the exact cause of the crash.” Mckenzie concluded.
