Investigation into a shooting incident at SA Army Infantry School in Oudtshoorn underway

A Board of Inquiry of the South African National Defence Force has been convened to investigate a shooting incident at one of its infantry school yesterday.

Defence Spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini said there was a shooting incident at the South African Army Infantry School in Oudtshoorn during an exercise.

Dlamini said one member had minor injuries and was taken to the sickbay.


“He is receiving the necessary medical attention and is out of any danger” Dlamini added.
