Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of arson and another of malicious damage.

This is after learners burnt down the Mpozolo Senior Secondary School in Willowvale after complaining about the conditions of the school.

Captain Jackson Manatha said the Inspector was called to address them, instead of listening to him they stole his vehicle, he ran away to the police. During the process of running away the learners tossed the school with all the resources inside the school.

A case of arson has since been opened and another case of malicious damage to property has been opened. No one has been arrested at this stage.
