Two suspects arrested for the recent murder of a 33-year-old in Long Street

Cape Town police have managed to arrest two suspects for the murder of a 33-year-old man which took place Long Street two weeks ago.

The man was stabbed and the knife left in his neck at Beerhouse. He was declared dead on the scene.

Colonel Andre Traut said the investigation by police into the murder of Joe Louis Kanyana led to the arrest of the two suspects in two different locations in the CBD.


Traut said the two suspects will make a court appearance on Monday at the Cape Town Magistrate Court.
