Baby boy found at Bellville taxi rank

Khayelitsha police are searching the parents of a baby boy who was at the Bellville taxi rank.

The child was found by a passer-by and was sent to Khayelitsha.

Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said the child is deaf and unable to speak. He is currently under the care of social workers in Khayelitsha.

“We are appeal members of the community who can assist in locating his parents or a guardian to contact Sargent Nosiphiwo Mthengwana on 071 604 8373 or 021 845 2060” Rwexana added.
